   I don’t understand it either Cypher. I’m perplexed that these men of God are still free hiding behind the Cross, so to speak….. The Catholic Church hasn’t really communicated their sincere horror and anger and frustration with priests who sexually molest minors.

   From my understanding, this is what happens:

   The first thing a bishop must do is follow reporting laws. Sad to say though, that most of these cases are not adjudicated because the statute of limitations has run out or the victims don’t want to report it. Or there is not enough evidence.

   So the result is that the bishop — sad to say — has to become judge and jury whether or not the allegations are founded. So what he does is if the civil courts and criminal courts do not adjudicate it, then he has to decide whether or not the man is guilty. So he’ll take him out of ministry and try to respond to the victims in a pastoral and sensitive way. And then try to determine what’s best to do with that priest. He’ll often send him for an evaluation, look at the priest and find out if he thinks there’s some credibility to the allegations and send him through treatment.

   Now as a parent, I’m sorry…..but, yall would see me on the 6 o’clock news, for murder!!!! I don’t give a damn!!!!!! Don’t mess with my kids!!!!!!!!

   Thanks for lending your thoughts. It’s one of those things that always flares up in the media every so often but probably continues to occur everyday. Are there no catholics out there? I would love some in house insight.

   Good luck with that Cypher. Many parents feel personally responsible for the crimes that took place, and rightly so. There’s no way in hell my child would be with some stranger alone!!!!! Doctor, Officer, Judge, Pricipal, Priest………etc. This is 2008!!! Come on now!!!!!

   Yes!
   I think a lot of this is coming out, but a lot is still swept under the rug. Some of these subjects we talk about. Example love,sex relationship and on and one stem from some of these things that happen in our lives. Can you imagine a young child Boy or Girl holding in for the rest of their lives something as painful as some Priest sexually hurting them. Even a parent of relative. I remember my mom telling me about how this happened a lot back in the south when she was growing up. It was just not talked about.

   How can we seek GOD when the Priest is the DEVIL. There is no explanation that can justify that shit, and yes MOM the Catholic Church must have a magical rug becuase they are hiding far more dirt than what we have heard of and we all know it. If we can’t trust the Priest, who in the hell can we trust. The Church and the Priest are suppose to help the community and embrace the youth, but not literally.

You know how many secrets some churches got…this is only one of em..you think nuns dont have sex for real? SIIKKKE…women got more than one hole niggas can put it in…and they probably pass it on from women to lil boys…Michael Jackson was inspired by these niggas, son!!!
