People have accused us of having a fetish for the word nigger, or rather nigga, the more hip-hop friendly version. Well, we’re here today to confront our “n-word-saying” critics by letting it be known that WE DO. We’re most definitely fascinated by a word with so much history. It intrigues us to see how this word and its various forms play in society. The word is a lesson in anthropology, sociology and history all wrapped in one, so we fucks with it. And when we notice it impacting culture or politics, we’ll bring it to TROUBL to discuss.

Last time I checked, Def Jam was threatning to drop Nas over the controversial title of his upcoming release “Nigger.” Since then, no reports have surfaced to subsatiate his departure and he obviously hasn’t budged.
