Mind Right

Written by: TROUBLMan

Mind Right Mind RightToday, companies around the globe are advancing “Techlepathy,” technology-enabled telepathy, where the human brain interacts with computers, allowing us to do things like use brain waves to control our mobile devices, play video games and even communicate with one another.

Question: Is this a slippery slope? Are we exposing ourselves to things like mind control and computer viruses or, is this just another form of natural selection and a glimpse into mankind’s cybernetic future?

Just Google search “Military Nanotechnology.” I did and I’m terrified. As far as I’m concerned, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence/robot research is right up there with nuclear arms in terms of the stupidity factor. We are just TRYING to destroy ourselves, or SOMEBODY out there is.

  2. Do you really believe we’re trying to destroy ourselves. I believe telepathy is a natural progression for humanity. Throughout the history of humanity our language capability have advanced. Isn’t this just the natural progression of our minds. I mean, we’ve created computer with our brains as the model it’s only natural that they eventually get married.

I don’t believe this is a conscious thing. A lot of people look at it as progress. There is a danger of us being out of control. Maybe there is another source that is controlling us.

  3. Slippery slope…YES. I don’t enjoy the idea, never did, of computers really. I’m anti-technology to be quite honest. Why? Because of these issues and situations. We can’t just stop and let things be. Seriously, do we REALLY need to control computers with our brainwaves…mobile devices, video games…why? Things are fine just as they are. Now, the concept is cool–can’t deny that. But, to cite it as a necessary thing in the progression of man and his cyber toys is faulty.

No. We can’t just stop and let things be. If we do, we will cease to exist. All of humanitie’s communication advancements have created intellectual growth, creativity and ways to understand each other as humans. I like the prospect of techlepathy. What I don’t look forward to are the people who will use it for their selfish gain. I’m also concerned about people who will be negligent with it. Still, it’s advancement.

At some point we can become overly creative to the point of self destruction. There are some things that are better left alone. If we look back to many years ago. We had some things that were good, but no longer exist because of progress. That doesn’t in my mind make them bad, people just found a way to do them a little faster or easier. Progress is not always good. Just my opinion.

Progress is always good in my book. It’s about moving forward, which is the direction life naturally moves. Computers and human integration will one day be commonplace and humans will know it as normal. It’s understandable to be apprehensive of technology. Throughout history, people have forecasted that impending technological revolutions would be the end of mankind. We’re still waiting…

“Progress” can’t be used the way you want it if telepathy is used negligently. Explain to me how that is progress? Progress? Progress? Man has a tendency to open Pandora’s Box and leave it open to have any and everybody come in and fuck it up. So, no, I’m anti-progress.

  4. We can not deny that techlepathy is an advancement however there is always that one person who will take advantage of it. What’s the reason for such an advancement? Yes, it would be cool to say that I just played a video game with my mind or I just called my mom using my brain waves. But at the end of the day, why do we need this? If we are able to foresee someone taking advantage of such technology then why even create it? So I think the question should be, is there a need for this? Or how can we use such technology for the greater good, besides making big bucks?

What’s the reason for such an advancement?

The technology can be used to help people with speech problems, it can be used to translate conversation between people who speak different languages. It’ll be used to help find and rescue people. And, I can imagine it being used parents and young children as a way of teaching. I can name a variety of educational benefits.

People will take advantage of every technological advancement. It’s always a give and a take, but ultimately advancement is progress and progress is one of the life’s goals. Ultimately, techlepathy will be just another moment in human history. I’m sure people will argue against full-blown telepathy when humans advance that far.

I already do that. When I think about my children they call. I have friends that haven’t called in months. I start thinking about them, and before you know it they call. I feel I can think a feeling to others and I can feel what they are saying before they say it. Maybe that’s not telepathy, but not everyone can do what I do. Maybe it just a strong feeling I possess that some don’t.

Telepathy is something that a being can do independent of a body. As a matter of fact, people do it all of the time. Problem is that we are always looking for our evidence in the physical universe, which is a universe separate from the one where we communicate instantaneously. Detach yourself from your mind and body, and you will find it is much easier to pass communication unaltered with close to exact duplication.

By the way, how do you think we as beings operate and control our bodies? We perceive by waves and communicate by wave energy through our bodies sense channels. The body never perceives anything, only we do, the “I” in control of the body. The “I” isn’t the brain, it isn’t the composed cells of the brain. The “I” is the awareness of awareness unit which is senior to the mechanics of the material world.

I’m interested in how is telepathy achieved independent of a body? While most skeptics would dismiss your assertion, TROUBL wants to know what you know. Go deeper, lead us to the information, provide a relevant link.

What’s the process of detaching yourself from your mind and body? Have you achieved this?
