Let’s play “guess who”—The TROUBL version.

As the lead singer of the legendary band U2, this TROUBLmaker has been glorified and criticized for his activism. ________is broadly known for his work in Africa, where he co-founded DATA (Debt, Aids, Trade in Africa), a non-profit designed for the purpose of obtaining equality and justice for Africa through debt relief, adjusting trade rules which burden the continent, eliminating the AIDS epidemic, strengthening democracy, and to hold the wealthiest nations and African leaders accountable. __________ is also the co-founder of the EDUN, ONE campaign, and Product Red. _________ has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, was granted an honorary knighthood by the United Kingdom, and was also named the Person of the Year by Time. This past July, _________ exercised his philanthropic energy, serving as guest editor of Vanity Fair’s special Africa issue. The issue included 20 historic covers featuring the like of Barak Obama, Queen Rania, George Bush, Condoleezza Rice, Muhammad Ali, Desmond Tutu, Brad Pitt, Djimon Hounsou, Madonna, Maya Angelou, Chris Rock, Melinda & Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Iman, Warren Buffett and Don Cheadle. It also included information about the issues and charities supported by these actors, athletes, models, politicians, musicians, activists, and billionaire philanthropists, all of whom use their celebrity status to bring attention to the complex set of problems faced by the people of Africa.
