Blind Faith
Many run of the mill “normal republicans” don’t know this about Rove, but he’s an atheist. That’s right the man who is known as “Bush’s Brain,” “The Architect” and “The Mastermind of the republican party” is not even a religious person. The one who orchestrates most, if not all of the strings in which bush dances to, doesn’t even agree with you at all about religion.
How does that make you feel? Isn’t religion a big part of your identity? (Of course I’m referring specifically about the Evangelical wing of the party) It has to be hard to watch men, who are so close to the man that you revere above all others (bush) fall or not even believe in your believes. They’re using you to get elected and make little change for themselves.
Take W’s personal preacher man Ted Haggard. He was a known gay denouncer (basher is too hard a word for Ted… wait a minute nothing is TOO HARD for Teddy bear that’s how he like it) whom as a good evangelical he was suppose to be, but the problem is he is GAY. I know that one has to sting a little. Yet you follow these men and take their words as surefire golden truths. That smirk on his face in the image above is the smirk of a man who realizes that religion is instrument. An instrument which he and his cronies played just like the pied piper did, right over the damn cliff.
FYI- I have nothing against Gays and Lesbian and if you interpret any of this incorrectly it was not my intention.

Im not surprised that he isnt religious…people are constantly putting on a front especially when they work for the government…people will appear one way because thats whats accepted…its like that in DC…you’d be amazed at the amount of professionals in the lounges and clubs every night…or the ones that smoke that la-la faithfully…be the same ones on “the hill” acting proper as hell and speakin’ on that righteous shit…
So is he just playing the game that all people play?….the level of conformity that all must endure when working in the public eye? Im not excusing his actions and I do believe that religion is used as a tool to gather the masses around an issue…
but lets face it… people are always one way and then another behind closed doors…

I don’t even think that bush is really religious. He just uses this to make justify what he does. He has broken most of the commandments and has in many ways become his own God.

That’s funny. It makes you question Bush’s religious beliefs! I know a lot of Christians who love Bush because of his so-called religious substance, and will ride with him til the end despite of all of his mishaps and fucked up train of thought! It makes you wonder… It’s like a nun having a prostitute for an advisor…

It’s sad that some people just take what their told is good for them without even checking it out first. This is exactly what the religious wing of the republican party does to its followers. Through their pastors, they send orders be it explicit or implicit to vote for their candidates because he or she is moral.
Don’t be afraid or lazy. Investigate these people’s backgrounds, even if you like them. Question everything; if not outright then at least to yourself.
