LOL!!!! Yikes - I hope I’ve never said any of those things!!!! Although a few did seem familiar to my vast repertoire ……..please believe I AIN’T NO DOPE FIEND!!!! I’m crazy as hell sober!!!! TRUST!!! I’m a handful, ask anyone who knows me.

Anyway - back to this crack thing —-

Crack ain’t just for the underbelly of society anymore. The illicit substance is becoming the drug of choice across social milieus. Serenity House Drug & Alcohol Treatment Centre in Calgary has treated bankers, oil workers and CEOs with crack addiction problems. Jodi Dahlgren, a substance abuse therapist told me, “I used to work at Main and Hastings in Vancouver, but I’ve never seen anything this bad. I never thought I’d be treating millionaires with crack addictions.”

I spoke with Brent, a recovering outpatient, and he’s typical of this new class of addict. Like many users, he burned through a lot of money on crack. Although the exact amount is hard to estimate — he still hasn’t tallied how much he spent on hotel rooms alone to host drug-fuelled parties — the figure is at least $250,000, which includes the remortgaging of his home and several thousand dollars in RSPs. “I feel terrible for the girls we were partying with,” he told me over the phone remorsefully. “They were good girls from middle-class homes. Some of them were still going to high school.”

    GO FIGURE!!!!

November 16, 2007 — A Bronx narcotics detective betrayed his badge and his colleagues by running a wholesale crack and heroin ring, authorities charged today.

James Calderon blundered into an investigation of his drug operation when he tried to retrieve from cops a car that had a drug stash hidden in a secret compartment, authorities said today.

The 13-year NYPD veteran, faces up to 25 years in prison after investigators rolled up the New York-to-Virginia ring he ran with his girlfriend and another man.

There's a war going on outside no man is safe from. It's for our minds. The enemy--ignorance, apathy, and the people who profit from both. Strap yourself. Only the smart survive.
