Harder, Better, Faster, STRONGER!
Of course, I feel Kanye when he raps: “n-n-now-th-that don’t kill me can only make me stronger,” but I think some of our favorite athletes and entertainers are taking his words too far. When it comes to Human Growth Hormone, we know it makes us stronger, but without any legitimate studies on its long-term effects can we really conclude that it’s not killing us? AlterNet has a good article on the drug. Read it here.

I have chosen more natural ways to boost my own GH, namely brief, intense exercise regimans. It is difficult to tell if it really makes a difference, but I usually feel good afterwards. The body is a complex biochemical milieu and the natural approach is more likely to stimulate appropriate pathways than exogenous hormones. My opinion.

My husband lifts weights daily and takes suppliments. Since I am afraid of what I’m unaware of I’d like some more info.

HGH is not a steroid and the body reacts totally differently to it than steroids. Unlike steroids, HGH or Human Growth Hormone is approved by the FDA for over the counter sales in “homeopathic solutions.” No doctor’s prescription is necessary.
Most athletes in the know today are using hgh in a generic formula so it can be obtained from any one of 30 companies on the internet. It must be “homeopathic” to be legal.

I feel like its ignorant to think that this engineered drug doesn’t have long term effects. It may not be steroids but the way people are using it is not natural to the bodies chemistry. What the fuck will America say when one of our favorite celebs dies from an HGH reaction.

I saw this female body builder in the jet magazine the other day. She was a four time champion in the female body building “Miss USA or something competition she was from Brasil. Arnold S. was presenting her with her championship trophy. She had muscles from her head to her toes. Her faces had muscles. I do believe in keeping the body toned but come on this women was bigger than most men her thighs etc. seemed to be too much. First thing I thought of is that she must have been taking Hormones. I don’t really know enough about these product to assume but I hope that these people know what can happen to them long term. Even if she doesn’t take them. What happens to her body when she gets older and stops lifting? Will she lose all that muscle and whats left?

The problem is people don’t know how this stuff works. HGH stimulates virtually all of the various systems in your body. The hormone increases your metabolism helping to break down fat, build proteins, and create lean muscle. It does not make you stonger, nor do steroids. Steroids only helps with recovery. You recover quicker so you can get back to lifting weights. The more weights you lift the stronger and bigger you get. When you put both of these together you have what you see in all your fitness magazines(or the movie 300 lol).
You are just adding extra hormones that your body already makes itself. You should only do this in 8-12 week cycles. You will shrink back to however you looked before. Thats why people use it year round and thats not good. Get as big as you can before you get on the sauce so when you are off cycle you will still be big. Just remember since it raises your hormone levels like testosterone it also raise your estrogen levels. Guys thats not good(bitch tits also in 300)! Since your body no longer needs to produce the hormones your nuts shrink. Don’t forget backne (ance on the back) and male pattern baldness etc.
If you want to get big without it:
1. Workout hard. Pretend you are in jail with nowhere to go.
2. Eat. LOTS OF PROTEIN! certain foods can boost your GH levels
3. Rest. Thats when you grow
4. Give it time (4-5 years). The main reason people get on the juice.
5. Workout at night when your GH levels are there highest.
LOVEROFPEACE I wouldn’t worry about what your husband is taking until you see a $2000-$4000 withdrawl from your bank account. This stuff is not cheap.
TOUBLMAN there really isn’t any side affects of HGH, but like with any other drug you can’t abuse it. Alot of older men are taking it along with test. It puts that pep back in their step if you know what I mean. lol If someone does feel the need to take it, it should be under doctors supervision.
