Created by a Cuban national who fled to the U.S. days before Castro took over the Cuban free press, Spy vs. Spy has shined as an example of creative social commentary since it debuted in “Mad Magazine” in 1961. The black and white wordless comic, which chronicles two spies engaged in a never-ending war against one another, was created to symbolize The Cold War.
