Kicks
Created by a Cuban national who fled to the U.S. days before Castro took over the Cuban free press, Spy vs. Spy has shined as an example of creative social commentary since it debuted in “Mad Magazine” in 1961. The black and white wordless comic, which chronicles two spies engaged in a never-ending war against one another, was created to symbolize The Cold War. And though The Cold War has passed, the style war rages on. Ready for battle, the comic has teamed up with New Balance to create a Spy vs. Spy version of the MT580 sneaker. See them here.
